Hey morning!!!

Am now at Woodlands. Been staying here since Tuesday. It was a very last minute decision on Andy's part to stay Woodlands. We were supposed to send my sister to Yishun that Tuesday night, and after sending her to Yishun, we went straight back to Woodlands. Nearer for us to go back. Hahaha

What's the feeling like staying at mum-in-law's place? Very free with nothing to do. There's only 4 of us in the house including myself. My brother-in-law is hardly at home. Mum-in-law is working till 6pm. Myself and Andy will reach home around 8pm. There's no kids at home so house is always very kemas. Basically, I don't have to vacuum or mop the house everyday. Just washing of the dishes after dinner. I just have to wash my laundry every 2 days. I started out washing my laundry every morning before I go off to work but my mum and Andy told me there is no need to wash your laundry every day. It's not like I am a family of many many children. Heh!

Did you know last Wednesday I made a very silly mistake? I woke up early coz Andy has to wake up at 6am. And since it's the MIL's house, I had to be an exemplary wife and daughter-in-law so I woke up as well. After Andy went off to work, I had a few hrs to spare and hence I decided to wash my laundry. Filled up the water, pour in the detergent and put in my clothes and voila, the washing machine should just start right? But no, the washing machine stayed quiet. Nothing happened. No spinning and no drying!

I called up Andy to ask him what's wrong with the washing machine but he offered me a very stupid solution. Leave the clothes in the washing machine and he will do the laundry when he comes back from work later. I definitely could not do that because my clothes are already soaked with water and the detergent in the washing machine. I possibly can't leave them like that till evening. My clothes will stink!!!! After hanging up the phone, I decided to try again to start the washing machine and that is when I realised I have not plugged the socket to the power point. So obviously washing machine cannot work!!! How bimbo can I be? Inilah kes anak dara yang tak masuk dapur. It was such a bimbotic moment hokay.

Putting that bimbo incident aside, staying in Woodlands has its advantages. I am never late for work. I reach my office between 8.40 to 8.50am. I still have time to queue up at Mr Soya Bean to get breakfast. Oh speaking of breakfast, did I tell you, my MIL has been making me breakfast since Wednesday? Wednesday, she made jemput2 for me, Thursday, she made bread with nutella, Friday, she made french toast. I was quite flattered but at the same time segan also. Haha. Do I sound like a pampered daughter-in-law? Andy says I do, cos Andy did not get breakfast last time. Hmmm, I am guilty of not making him breakfast also. Heh!

Anyway, I am now waiting for my elder sister to wake up. I promised her I would fetch her from Yishun and then we go to our mum's place together. I can't believe I am doing this. Weekends visiting my mother. As of now, I have not missed home yet except for my cat, Wiwit. Wiwit is like my bantal busuk. Even if my mum calls me up at work, I'd ask for Wiwit. Not as if she can talk.

I also realised I need to be back at Woodlands by 5pm to attend a solemnisation of a neighbour here in Woodlands. I should have not promise my sister anything. But what's done cannot be undone. I am still trying to successfully upload all my pictures in Multiply. My patience is wearing thin and I am on the verge of giving up. However, since I have nothing to do I shall simply wait and do this slowly.

Till then...
